Understand the different media types available for your social media posts.
Image posts
The default format for SocialWhisper posts includes an AI-generated image alongside your text. This is the most common format and works well across all platforms. The image is generated in a standard aspect ratio that works for feed posts on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Text-only posts
Some platforms and post types work better without an image. X (Twitter) threads, LinkedIn thought leadership posts, and Bluesky conversations often perform well as text-only content. When generating content, you can configure whether the post should include an image or be text-only.
Video (Auto Shorts)
For video content, SocialWhisper offers Auto Shorts which create AI-generated short-form video content. These are designed for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Auto Shorts are a separate feature with their own configuration for series, characters, and visual styles.
Format by platform
The AI automatically selects the best format based on your connected platforms and the content type. Image posts work universally. Some platforms like X perform well with both image and text-only posts. The AI considers your media preferences from your brand settings when deciding the format.
Note: Custom image upload is coming soon. For now, all images are AI-generated or posts are text-only.
