How Credits Work
Credits are the currency for generating content on SocialWhisper. Here is everything you need to know.
One credit, one post
1 Credit = Text for all connected platforms + 1 AI image
Whether you publish to 1 platform or 9, it costs 1 credit
Each credit covers one complete content generation. This includes AI-generated text optimized for every connected social platform plus one AI-generated image. The number of platforms you publish to does not affect the credit cost. Publishing the same post to Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook still costs just 1 credit.
When credits are deducted
Credits are deducted upfront when generation begins, not when you publish. This applies to both manual posts and Autopilot-generated posts. If generation fails for any reason, the credit is automatically refunded to your account.
What uses credits
- Creating a new post (manual or Autopilot)
- Regenerating an existing post
- Auto Shorts video generation
What does NOT use credits
- Editing an existing draft
- Scheduling or rescheduling a post
- Publishing a previously generated post
- Connecting or managing social accounts
- Updating your brand settings
