Creating a Post
Generate platform-optimized content from a topic, URL, or workspace idea.
Input methods
SocialWhisper supports several ways to create a post:
- Topic or prompt: Describe what you want to post about in natural language. For example, “Tips for remote team productivity” or “Announce our new product launch.”
- URL: Paste an article or webpage URL. The AI reads the content and creates a summary-based social media post.
- Workspace ideas: Save ideas in your Workspace and generate posts from them later when you are ready.
What the AI generates
When you trigger generation, the AI creates platform-specific text for each of your connected social accounts. Text is optimized per platform: shorter for X, professional for LinkedIn, casual and hashtag-rich for Instagram. The AI also generates one AI image to accompany the post.
After generation
Your post starts as a draft. You can review the generated text for each platform, edit anything you want to change, and then choose to publish immediately or schedule for a specific date and time. Each generation costs 1 credit regardless of how many platforms you publish to.
Tip: The more specific your topic, the better the AI output. Instead of “marketing tips,” try “3 email marketing tips for SaaS startups with under 1000 subscribers.”
