Refunds on Failures

You will never lose a credit to a system error. Failed generations are automatically refunded.

How automatic refunds work

Credits are deducted upfront when content generation begins. If the generation fails at any point during the process, the system automatically refunds the credit to your account. This happens within seconds of the failure. You do not need to contact support or file a request.

What triggers a refund

  • Generation failure: The AI could not create content due to a server error or timeout.
  • Image generation failure: The image creation process failed or timed out.
  • Autopilot failure: An Autopilot run failed to complete the generation process.

What does NOT trigger a refund

  • Publishing failure: If content was generated successfully but failed to publish to a platform, the credit is not refunded since the generation itself succeeded.
  • Content quality: If you are not satisfied with the AI output, regenerating costs a new credit.

Checking your balance

Your credit balance is displayed in the sidebar of your dashboard. After a failure and refund, refresh the page to see the updated balance. If you believe a credit was not refunded when it should have been, contact support at hi@socialwhisper.app and we will investigate.

Note: Because credits are deducted upfront and refunded automatically on failure, you always know exactly how many credits you have available, even while generation is in progress.
